National athlete fail to defend World Cup Singles lawn bowls title

National athlete, Siti Zalina Ahmad has failed to defend her title in the World Cup Singles lawn bowls championship.
This, after the two-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist lost to Norfolk Island's Carmen Anderson 2-nil in the women's final held in New South Wales, Australia.
Zalina says despite the result she is still happy with her performance, and adds that Carmen deserved the win.
