National mixed doubles pair, Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying have reached the semifinals of the New Zealand GP Gold tournament.
This, after the duo took out their Indonesia counterparts, posting a straight sets win of 21-12, 21-11 in the quarterfinals.
There is more good news as fellow Msian, Soo Teck Zhi reached the last 4 of the men's singles event, after defeating his unseeded Chinese opponent.
