No imminent retirement plans for Roger Federer

Nov 26, 2019

Roger Federer insists he will continue to focus on extending his tennis career for as long as possible, joking that he will never retire.

38-year-old Federer recently invested in a Swiss-based company, but says his business venture is not a sign he's set to stop playing the sport he loves.

In fact, Federer adds that the company actually encourages him to keep playing to the best of his abilities.

Federer did acknowledge, however, that he is looking forward to the freedom his eventual retirement will bring, considering the impact tennis has on the rest of his life.

Sergio Aguero out for weeks with thigh problem

Manchester City's Sergio Aguero will be out of action for a few weeks, after sustaining a thigh injury during Sunday's Premiership win over Chelsea.

City boss Pep Guardiola admits it's a major problem, but could not provide any further details.

This means Aguero is not only set to miss their Champions League meeting with Shakhtar Donetsk, but also their big EPL clash with Man United next week.

Jose Mourinho will not sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has ruled out a move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, because he says he already has the best striker in England in Harry Kane.

Ibrahimovic, who played for Mourinho at Inter Milan and Man United, is available after his two-year spell at LA Galaxy ended, and the Swedish striker was linked with a move to Spurs, after Mourinho was quickly announced as Mauricio Pochettino's replacement last week.

Mourinho admits he does have a special connection with Ibrahimovic, but says it wouldn't make sense to sign him.
