Real Madrid eliminated from Champions League after defeat to Ajax

Holders Real Madrid have crashed out of the Champions League in spectacular fashion!
The Spanish giants - who've won the competition for the past three seasons - fell to a shock 4-1 defeat to Ajax in the second-leg of the last-16 this morning, to go out 5-3 on aggregate.

The result means Real will likely end the season empty-handed, having already been knocked out of the Copa del Rey...while they're also third in La Liga, well behind leaders and bitter rivals Barcelona.
Tottenham march through quaterfinals

Another last-16 second leg match this morning saw Tottenham book their sport in the quarterfinals, with a 1-nil win over Borussia Dortmund.
Harry Kane scored the only goal of the match, to send Spurs thru to the last eight 4-nil on aggregate.
Chelsea lodge appeal against FIFA transfer ban

Chelsea have lodged an appeal against FIFA's decision to ban the club from signing new players over the next two transfer windows.
The ban - which runs until the end of January 2020 - was imposed after The Blues came under probe for the illegal signing of foreign underaged players.
