The Gunners now lie just a point off the top 4 while the result also brings an end to Palace's club-record eight-match unbeaten run in the EPL.
Roy Hodgson's side are 1 point clear of the relegation zone.
Meanwhile the match also saw Gunners boss Arsene Wenger matching ex-Man United manager Alex Ferguson's record of managing 810 Premier League games.
