Raheem Sterling has criticised the England fans who booed Joe Gomez during their 7-nil thrashing of Montenegro this morning.

Forward Sterling missed the game at Wembley, as punishment for his fight with Gomez earlier this week, and the decision angered the team's supporters.

Sterling says it wasn't fair for the fans to boo Gomez, saying he was the one who was responsible for the altercation and not Gomez.

Meanwhile, the win over Montenegro sent England into Euro 2020 with one qualifying game to spare.

Chelsea have decided to sell Olivier Giroud in January.

According to Italian reports, The Blues will accept bids of as low as 6 million pounds for the forward, with Inter Milan said to be interested.

33-year-old Giroud is out of favour at Chelsea, and has only seen 120 minutes worth of action on the Premier League this season.

Meanwhile, Inter are looking to boost their attacking options after blowing a two-goal lead against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
