Sunderland are staying in the Premier League after beating Everton 3-nil at home, but Newcastle and Norwich City are relegated.
The win kept Sunderland out of the bottom three, 4 points ahead of Newcastle and Norwich - who beat Watford 4-2 this morning, with just one round of matches left.
Newcastle and Watford will follow Aston Villa down to the Championship next season.
