She took out Egypt's Mayar Hany to book her spot in the next round where she will face another Egyptian, Nouran Gohar.

Malaysian men's doubles reps Goh V Shem-Tan Wee Kiong have stormed into the semifinals of the Malaysia Badminton Masters in KL.

They move into the last four along with Ong Yew Sin-Teo Ee Yi and Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik.

Chan Peng Soon-Goh Liu Ying are also thru to the semis of the mixed doubles event.
