Tiger Woods drops outside top 1,000 players

Tiger Woods has dropped outside the top 1,000 players in the world for the first time in his professional career.

The latest World Golf Ranking shows him at number 1,005.

The 41-year-old has been struggling with a back injury for the past couple of years, and has only made one top-20 finish in the past 2 seasons.

Woods once held the world number one ranking for a record 683 weeks, and he's only 3 PGA Tour wins short of the all-time record.
