Two weightlifting athletes failed their doping tests at the recent SUKMA Games in Perak.

The Malaysian Weightlifting Association confirmed the matter, but refused to reveal the identities of the duo or which state they represent.

It is understood that the duo are medal winners, and they face a possible four-year suspension.

The association adds that the two athletes in question can ask for their Sample B to be tested if they are not satisfied with the decision.
