Since 2011, Meelz has been keeping the spirit of rock 'n roll alive on YouTube from his bedroom. As a solo musician, Meelz aims to bring the entire rock band experience by himself - powered by blaring guitars, piercing screams, dreamy synths and thick harmonies. A storyteller at heart, Meelz places his priorities in the listening experience as a whole, setting the stage with an almost cinematic soundscape to cover topics such as relationships and mental health.

With his start in the My Little Pony fandom, Meelz's release of "Twilight Sparkle, You're My Reason To Live" has landed him shows around the world - including PonyCon AU in Sydney, SEAPonyCon in Thailand, The Cloudsdale Splash in Singapore, all the way back to his hometurf in Malaysia with Comic Feista.

After years of producing songs and covers based on fandoms, Meelz released 'Never Give Up' in 2017 - a full-length album comprised of original songs, proving himself not to be a one-trick pony and establishing himself as a more versatile songwriter.

Meelz has since returned to YouTube to produce songs based on shows like Steven Universe and She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power, releasing "Welcome To The Sisterhood" in 2020 - an EP paying tribute to some of his favorite female characters in fiction and musically his most diverse effort to date, ranging from the poppy-yet-harsh sound of the title track to a near 10-minute prog opus with Lapis Lazuli (Medley), covering genres from punk and metal to jazz and country.

Nearing 1000 subscribers on YouTube, the spirit of the DIY bedroom musician lives strong through Meelz with a bright remainder of 2020
