Claudia Tan is an up-and-coming Malaysian pop artist hailing from Kuching, Sarawak. She's perhaps best known for her 70s-inspired bop "Bodies" – which went viral on TikTok and was met with local acclaim.
The single was released in October of 2020 and successfully raked up plenty of plays from radio and was placed on heavy rotation for several months.
Her songs feature deeply personal and relatable experiences about love, heartbreak, and "millennial artificiality".
Aside from her musical endeavors, Claudia is also a well-known Wattpad writer. Her second novel entitled Perfect Addiction is optioned to become a Hollywood film by Constantin Films and Wattpad Studios.
Claudia’s latest release is a single entitled “Nice Guy” – a sassy pop song that’s got all the makings of a quintessential “hot girl summer” anthem.
The track is produced by Irwinandfire – the Subang Jaya-bred producer behind her TikTok-hit “Bodies” (2020).
Claudia cites that the song is about the "nice guy" syndrome. Lyrically, the song depicts a situation involving Claudia and a man who uses "being a nice guy" as a guise to manipulate the dynamic of their relationship in his own favor.
