MassMusic has just released their debut album, MassMusic Vol 1, and it's already getting lots of love!
The album takes listeners on a ride with themes that touch on light and polarising darker energies. Listening to the tracklist in order, a toxic proclamation of love unfolds as we grasp with conflicting views on dysfunctional relationships.
The album explores the human condition through love and self-destruction. The poison in pursuing a fleeting lover, whose interests lay only in themselves, the inevitability of heartbreak that ensues through lust and heedlessness, as well as the longing of being with someone you know will hurt you.
MassMusic brings a fresh new sound with members, Alan Durairaj, Ilyas Abir, Wai Ming Yue and Midnight. They complement each other in the pursuit to refine their sound and heighten their musical experience. The group is influenced by a wide range of artists from Young Thug and Drake to Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.
In a recent interview, MassMusic stated that they’ll continue to experiment with new sounds and genres to push the limits of their music.
