February is about to get a whole lot sweeter because it’s the month of Ariana Grande!
The singer was born on 26th June 1993 in Boca Raton, Florida to parents, Joan Marguerite Grande and Edward Charles Butera. Ariana began singing and acting at an early age. At 15-years-old, she landed the role of Charlotte in the Broadway production of 13.
Ariana was also cast as Cat Valentine in Victorious and the series ran until 2012, at which time, Cat got her own spinoff called Sam & Cat. She has also appeared in multiple theater and television roles and has even lent her voice to animated television and movies.

Ari went on to pursue a musical career which began in 2011 on the soundtrack of Victorious. In 2013, she released her first studio album titled, Yours Truly and the album’s lead single, “The Way,” opened in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. Critics began calling her the next Mariah Carey.
The singer’s second album, My Everything, dropped in 2014 and entered at number one in the USA. In 2016, she released her third studio album, Dangerous Woman where the title track debuted at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, making Ariana the first person in the history of the chart to have the lead singles from each of their three albums debut within the top 10 in the US!

Her fourth album, Sweetener, dropped in 2018 and topped several album charts around the world as well with hit singles like, “No Tears Left to Cry” and “God is a Woman.”
