The origin of Wonder Woman remains the same. Her mother formed her out of clay and she was brought to life by the Greek gods, which meant she has no father. Her powers were a result of her blessings from the Gods.

However, in DC’s recent New 52 relaunch, Wonder Woman is actually the daughter of Zeus. The DC movie universe will now follow the new origin.
