It's official. The sequel to A Quiet Place is happening and a release date has been set!

Paramount Pictures announced that the horror sequel will be released on 15th May 2020 and we can't wait! Although an official title of the squel has yet to be set, lead actor, John Krasinski is said to already be working on the script.

Speaking to Collider last month, producer Andrew Form said that the sequel was "lucky" to have John on board. "We're gonna take our time, we're gonna figure out where to go, but there is no rush on it and we're just starting to talk about it."

"We're figuring out what everyone's involvement's gonna be and what the actual next movie's gonna be. The first one is so special to us that we really want to take our time with this and not rush anything," he added

Starring John Krasinski and his real-life wife Emily Blunt, A Quiet Place is a silent dystopian movie that follows a family constantly on the run from murderous extra-terrestrial creatures. Due to the aliens' hyper-sensitive hearing which is used to hunt, the family must live their lives in almost complete silence to avoid them.

Who's excited for the sequel?
