Ever since the first for the upcoming live-action Sonic the Hedgehog hit the Internet, no one was happy.

Director, Jeff Fowler, heard the complaints and has decided to do something about it.

The almost three-minute trailer did not get the love that was expected.

Fans were hating on the CGI, Sonic’s look and especially, his weird human-like teeth.

All this criticism was taken in by the director who took to social media to ensure fans that there definitely will be changes made to Sonic.

He tweeted, “Thank you for the support. And the criticism. The message is loud and clear… you aren’t happy with the design & you want changes. It’s going to happen.”

As the upcoming movie is due for release in November, we really hope that the changes made to Sonic will be made in time. And hopefully, Sonic will look a lot more like the Sonic we love.

What are your thoughts on the original Sonic design?
