The symbiote has found a new host and it’s director in one go!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Venom 2 has officially found its director in the form of famed motion-caption actor and director, Andy Serkis!

The Gollum actor will be taking his place in the director’s chair for Sony’s upcoming sequel Venom and fans are excited to see what he’ll be able to churn out for the franchise.
This will the third movie that Andy has directed, the first being 2017’s Breathe and 2018’s Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle which starred Christian Bale, Benedict Cumberbatch and Cate Blanchett.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor was chosen to direct the sequel based on his impressive and extensive experience with performance capture.
Andy took to social media to officially announce his new role on Venom 2 saying, “It’s happening. The Symbiote has found a host in me and I’m ready for the ride… Can’t wait!”
While this is good news to many fans of the first movie which starred Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, not everyone is as ecstatic about the news. Fans are split with many curious to see what he’ll be able to improve and some totally against Andy’s new role.
