When we first heard rumours that Ant-Man 3 was possibly cancelled, we must admit, our hearts stopped from disappointment.
But fortunately, that’s one rumour that’s been squashed!

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Ant-Man 3 is officially in the works and we’re freaking out over all the possibilities of what could happen in the Quantum Realm.
The outlet also reported that Peyton Reed, who directed both Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp, has signed on to helm the third movie.

While no plot details have been revealed and are being kept tightly under wraps, Paul Rudd is expected to return as Scott Lang aka our favourite tiny superhero, Ant-Man!
A release date for the third movie has not been confirmed but according to THR’s sources, “the plan is to shoot at the end of 2020 or top of 2021 for a likely release in 2022.”
The sources also noted that shooting for Ant-Man 3 will only take place after shooting for both Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder, is finished.
