We’re less than a month away from Avengers: Endgame and we’re ready for every minute of it.
Luckily for Marvel fans, the wait will be worth it as the upcoming movie has been rumoured to clock in at a little over three hours! Three hours and two minutes to be exact!
AMC Theatres’ website and IMDb have listed Avengers: Endgame’s running time at three hours and two minutes which coincides with what Marvel president, Kevin Feige said previously about the movie.
Considering that the upcoming movie serves as the culmination of the Infinity Saga, it only makes sense that the Endgame will be the longest installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Speaking to Collider previously, Kevin said, “It’s gonna be the exact running time that the movie needs to be. I think there’s a lot of story in that movie and a lot of characters in that movie… Some movies can be 90 minutes and feel like they’re four hours. And some movies can be three and a half hours and feel like 90 minutes.

Directors, Anthony and Joe Russo also spoke to Collider about the length of the movie saying, “This is a culmination of 22 movies, it’s a lot of storytelling to work into it. Emotion is an intrinsic part of that to us. When you have to tell a really complicated story and you want strong emotional moments with the characters, it just requires a certain amount of real estate. This one, in particular, feels like three hours worth of real estate.”

The official plot of the movie was also released by Marvel and it reads: “The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studio’s grand conclusion to the twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame.”
We can’t wait to see what the future holds for our favourite superheroes!
Marvel fans are obviously ready for the three hours. Some are even asking for Endgame to be longer!
