DC's upcoming Harley Quinn movie, Birds of Prey, has found its villain in Ewan McGregor!
Deadline reported that Ewan will be taking on the role as Black Mask in the upcoming "girl gang" movie. The actor will step into the shoes of the Gotham City mob boss (AKA Roman Sionis) who leads the False Face Society gang.

In the comics, to inherit his parents' massive wealth and take over their corporation, Black Mask kills them but he ends up losing it all and blames it on others. Namely, Bruce Wayne (AKA Batman).

Ewan will be joining Margot Robbie, who will be back to take on her role as Harley Quinn, Mary Elizabeth Winstead who will play Huntress, and Jurnee Smollett-Bell whole will be playing Black Canary.
In August, it was revealed that the villain of the upcoming movie would be Black Mask. This will be Black Mask's first big-screen appearance.
No official release date has been confirmed for Birds of Prey yet but we do know that Suicide Squad 2 has been pushed to make space for the movie.
