Fans of Sonic the Hedgehog, get ready to see your favourite hedgehog hit the big screen!
The upcoming live-action movie will see Ben Schwartz voicing the title character with James Marsden as Tom Wachowski - who Sonic grows close to. Jim Carrey will also star as the evil Dr. Robotnik.
New details that have surfaced reveal that the entire movie could have gone in a very different direction. A recent leak showed that Chris Pratt and Tom Holland were both considered to take on the role of Sonic before the role ultimately went to Ben.

A rumoured "internal poster" has also been making its way around that shows Chris taking on the role of Tom. However, the poster was "allegedly made roughly a year ago."
Many Sega fans were not happy to see that Tom and Chris didn't make the final cut into the upcoming movie. Many argued that either or both actor would have made the film much more desirable.
