After the huge success of Shazam!, it looks like Black Adam is finally ready to take off!
Recently, reports have made their way around that the solo project for the Egyptian god was finally getting some progress over at Warner Bros.
Now, Dwayne Johnson has confirmed that the Worlds of DC’s ultimate anti-hero’s wait is coming to an end with production on the movie set to begin in mid-2020!
It’s been a long journey for The Rock who has had great difficulty in getting the Black Adam project off the ground and into development over the past 10 years, but this good news has gotten fans super excited!
Replying to a tweet of a sculptor’s model of what Dwayne would look like as Teth-Adam; he confirmed that production will begin on the movie in July 2020.
“Very cool man, thank you,” the actor tweeted. “Amazing detail. This project has been with me for over 10yrs. Production begins this July. Appreciate the support.”
Fans, of course, are freaking out for Black Adam to begin and have filled the Twitterverse with their excitement.
We can’t wait to see Black Adam hit the big screen and will be here waiting patiently until that day comes!
