We’re only 48 days away from first laying eyes on the live-action remake of The Lion King and we’re super excited!

To celebrate the release of the highly anticipated movie, Disney released their first character posters to give us a more detailed look at our favourite characters.
While the new character posters are definitely keeping us hyped for the upcoming movie, many fans were slightly confused and taken aback by one character in particular.
Pumbaa, the warthog, voiced by Seth Rogen.
Many fans were shocked by Pumbaa’s live-action appearance and TBH, so were we in the start. While some were shocked, others defended the lovable warthog fiercely. And of course, both sides took to the Twitterverse to share their opinions.
It’s the circle of life, right? How else is a warthog supposed to look like in real life? We’re still excited for The Lion King, no matter how Pumbaa may look.
