Sony’s upcoming musical adaptation of Cinderella has been recently making waves with Camila being cast as Cinderella and Billy Porter in negotiations to take on the role of the fairy godmother.
Now, according to Deadline, the Tony and Grammy winning actress is currently in talks to join the musical as Evelyn, Cinderella’s evil stepmother!

In case you’ve been living under a rock, Idina is the voice actress for Frozen’s Elsa and is responsible for making “Let It Go” the popular song it is today.
It’ll definitely be great to have the actress starring alongside Camila in the musical!

The movie that’s set for release in February 2021, is based on an original idea from James Corden. Kay Cannon will be taking on the role as director and writer of the movie that will mark Camila’s feature film debut.
We can’t wait for Cinderella to make its way to the big screen!
