The upcoming Elvis biopic from Baz Luhrmann, the role of the King has yet to be filled but five actors are said to be currently in the running to play the highly coveted role.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ansel Elgort, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Miles Teller have all tested for the director last week while Harry Styles and Austin Butler have also been looked into for the role.

Tom Hanks has already officially signed on to join the cast as Col. Tom Parker, the legendary manger of Elvis who controlled his life and career.

The upcoming biopic was announced last year and the role of Elvis is expected to be filled and revealed in the coming weeks.
