Have you ever found yourself waiting endlessly for those mid and post-credits scenes after a Marvel movie? Wondered why you were even waiting?
Post-credits scenes have been around forever but it was really the Marvel Cinematic Universe that popularised them by teasing future films or using them as cheeky jokes.

Marvel Studios president, Kevin Feige, revealed a very personal reason that he loves having them, while accepting an award at BAFTA's 2018 Britannia Awards.
He said, "Movies bring people together, but they also bring people together behind the scenes. At Marvel Studios, we've been putting a scene after the end credits in all of our films since the very beginning. The fans love it - it's a tease of something to come."

"But the real bonus is that the audience is going to sit there and look at all the names of the hundreds of thousands of people who work so hard to bring these movies to life. That really inspired me as a kid, to see all those names, and I hope it inspires people today," he added.

Marvel fans have been sitting through to the very end of the credits for over a decade since the MCU first started! Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 currently holds the record with five mid- and post-credits scenes.
