John Krasinski, man of steel? Not like Superman, but like an actual man of steel after the actor shattered his knee in four places!
Speaking to E! News during an event for his new series, Jack Ryan; filming the series took him and the cast all over the world, including Europe and the Middle East. However, things got a little too real for the Jack Ryan star, of which John plays the title character, when he shattered his knee. "It was really painful," he said.
After the injury, John was "rushed to the hospital" but he ultimately headed back to the US for surgery. "This is all robotic. I'm a Transformer now," the actor joked.

Although he's way past the pain now, E! News couldn't help but noticed how muscular and toned the actor had gotten while preparing for Jack Ryan. Well, we've noticed it too! But not everyone is a fan of his new body, mostly his own wife, Emily Blunt.

"She hates it. She would way prefer to have doughy guy back," John said to Stephen Colbert on The Late Show.
Well, buff or not, transformer or not, we still love us some John Krasinski!
