It’s been almost a year since Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe ended and tbh, we’re still crying at that scene.
As the world is now being responsible by staying indoors to help stop the spread of COVID-19, much of the production and release of Phase 4 movies have been on hold or pushed back, like Black Widow.
Even so, there are many who are still at the edge of their seats anticipating what’s to come for the MCU and one of those people is Mark Ruffalo aka Bruce Banner aka The Hulk.

As many fans will know, Mark has long been campaigning for his beloved avenger to have his own solo movie or series like Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow and Hawkeye.
In a new interview with Variety, it looks like the actor is still interested in the notion and has not lost hope for this to happen. He even has an idea for a Hulk movie!
“There’s an idea that I think could be really interesting,” Mark said. “We’ve never really followed him into his life. He’s always kind of off on the side. He’s like the Rosencrantz and Guildenstern of the Avengers. It’d be interesting to fill in all the blanks about what happened to him in between all these movies.”

“Maybe Hulk and Wolverine could hook up,” he added.

Unfortunately, even before the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been no word on any sort of upcoming solo Hulk movie or series. We’re still crossing our fingers and toes though!
Mark did note however that there could be a chance of Hulk appearing on the upcoming She-Hulk series planned for Disney+, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
“There’s some talk of having Banner/Hulk show up in She-Hulk,” the actor told Variety. “If we come up with something good, that would be really interesting. Right now that’s about it. That’s all there is on the table.”

We’re definitely on board with a solo Hulk movie, especially if we get to see Hulk and Wolverine team up! With Disney recently acquiring the rights to Wolverine, who knows… this may come true sooner than we think!
