As the Marvel Cinematic Universe came to a close with the Avengers as we’ve come to love them, not a single dry eye was left as the credits rolled. We admit, we were ugly crying throughout the movie.

Fans who have been questioning what the Avengers would look like after the deaths of Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff, have much to hope for in the coming future.

While plans for the upcoming Phase Four and a little Phase Five were unveiled at the recent San Deigo Comic-Con, many pointed out the lack of an Avengers movie.

While Avengers: Endgame was thought to be the final installment of the Avengers series, Marvel Studios president, Kevin Feige, has revealed that a fifth Avengers movie is definitely on the way!

According to the studio’s president, the fifth installment is already in the works but fans should not hope for the same Avengers team to make their appearance and save the universe once again.

“It will be a very different team than we’ve seen before,” Kevin said. “That’s what Endgame was all about. It will be a very different incarnation of the team with some people you’ve already met and some you haven’t met yet.”

But with all the upcoming plans for Phase Four, Kevin has hinted that the fifth Avengers movie will not be arriving anytime soon and fans may have to wait until Phase Five to see the new Avengers team.

“Well it’s what I love about the Marvel comic method of storytelling,” he added. “That’s not anything we invented, I love that things build up, they build to a crescendo, they all get together, they separate, they change.”

“And now we get to do that, not just in movies but in these mega event series on Disney Plus, [which] has just invigorated all of us at Marvel Studios to keep going,” Kevin said.

We definitely can’t wait to see what Marvel has planned for the new Avengers team! The wait might be long, but we’re sure it’ll be worth it! What are your thoughts on the fifth Avengers movie?
