If there’s one thing Marvel Studios is serious about, it’s about keeping their secrets, secret.

Since the end of Avengers: Infinity War, fans have been left to come up with their own theories about the on-goings in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After Thanos’ devastating snap that wiped out half the universe, fans have been picking apart every trailer, poster, action figures – you name it- that’s been released.

When the first Spider-Man: Far from Home trailer was revealed, every single piece of footage was analysed for any evidence of what could occur in Avengers: Endgame

Fans have also used release dates and movie announcements as bases of their investigation into the events of the MCU.

Marvel however is keen on making that investigation a lot more difficult.

In a recent interview with Comic Book, Marvel’s president, Kevin Feige confirmed that the studio would not be revealing any future movie projects until AFTER Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far from Home have hit the big screen.

He did however tease that there is a “tremendous amount of potential” for upcoming projects.

“As we’ve been doing for years, we aren’t going to announce anything post-Avengers: Endgame or Spider-Man until post Endgame and Spider-Man,” Kevin said.

“As you know as a fan, there’s a tremendous amount of potential and a tremendous amount of additional characters and storylines and groups of characters that we’re going to keep playing with,” he continued.

“And again, that’s a testament to Marvel and to the amount of storylines and characters and amazing, amazing runs that have been in the Marvel comics.”

That unfortunately leaves us with more questions. Will the new and upcoming movies - that haven’t been announced, change the whole MCU timeline as we know it? Will our favourite superheroes be lost forever to the dusting? What is going to happen to the MCU??

Well, we won’t have any answers until July 2019.

The wait continues…
