Pottermore and Warner Bros. recently announced a new, joint collaboration that will see both Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts content released online under on roof that will be called, Wizarding World Digital.
A statement posted on Pottermore’s website noted that all quizzes, features, and articles will be moved over to WizardingWorld.com around 15th May.
The statement reads, “Be on the lookout for even more digital experiences brought to you by Wizarding World Digital – a new joint venture between Pottermore and Warner Bros.. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been up to…”

Speaking to The Bookseller, Pottermore chairman and J.K. Rowling’s agent, Neil Blair, said that the joint venture had been a long time coming.
Launched in 2012, Pottermore was created specifically to publish the official Harry Potter e-books, digital audio books, and to create an online presence. However, the site has always been limited when it came to accessing content from the movies that were produced by Warner Bros.
“This venture will widen and deepen what we have been able to do on Pottermore so far,” Neil said. “There’s no reason now why we won’t be able to do something because there’s a rights issue. The only limits will be our imaginations and what technology is available.”

On the Wizarding World website, it states boldly, “The magical universe that encompasses Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts and an expanding range of characters, stories, experiences and products derived from them, as well as new projects inspired by this magical universe.”
No word has been given about what exactly it is that Potterheads can look forward but we’re hanging on to the hopes of a lot more content. Rumours of a possible online store has also made its way around and with a new digital platform, it’s highly possible that this will be where we go to get all our wands, books, owls and more!
