The Oscar-winning actor has just been revealed to be joining the cast of the upcoming James Bond film!

Rami is set to play a villain in the 25th official James Bond movie that’s will cinemas in April 2020. The untitled movie will be Daniel Craig’s fifth and final stint as the Mi6 agent.
The official plot summary describes Rami’s character as “a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology” and we can’t wait to see what he does with the role!

The actor confirmed his role via a video that played at the launch event.
He said, “I’m stuck here in New York in production but I’m very much looking forward to joining the whole cast and crew. I will be making sure Mr Bond does not have an easy ride in this, his 25th outing. See you all soon.”
The official plot summary for the upcoming Bond 25 reads:
“Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.”

Returning to the cast is Ralph Fiennes as M and Ben Whishaw as Q, while Noamie Harris comes back as Moneypenny with Rory Kinnear returning as MI6 chief of staff, Bill Tanner.
Lea Seydoux will also be reprising her role from 2015’s Spectre as Madeleine Swann and Jeffrey Wright will return as ex-CIA agent, Felix Leiter.
Other new cast members added to the upcoming Bond movie includes Captain Marvel’s Lashana Lynch and Game Night’s Billy Magnussen. Newcomers Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah and David Dencik will also be joining the cast.
