Sonic the Hedgehog is here and he’s finally everything we imagined he’d be!

When the first ever trailer for the live-action Sonic the Hedgehog first surfaced, fans were deeply disappointed by the design of the iconic video game star.
From the way Sonic’s eyes were designed to his freakishly human-like teeth and hands, it seemed like no one was on board for the movie and fans were calling out the designers for producing such a catastrophe.

Fortunately, the cries of outrage from fans were heard by director Jeff Fowler who took to social media to announce that a redesign was definitely happening on everyone’s favourite speedster hedgehog.
And now, the redesign is finally here and we must admit that Sonic definitely looks a lot better and a lot more closer to the original design.
The trailer definitely makes us want to actually see the movie that’s set to hit cinemas in February, now!
Fans all over the Twitterverse agree and are overjoyed by the new design of Sonic.
We can’t wait for Sonic the Hedgehog now!
