DC fans, hang on to your seats because this is a big one.

The first trailer for Matt Reeves’ The Batman is here and Robert Pattinson’s debut of the Dark Knight is everything we expected and more!

Since it was first announced, The Batman has easily become one of the most anticipated DC movies, especially with Robert at the helm.

Though there were a lot of mixed reactions when the actor was first cast as the caped crusader, fans have quickly changed their minds with the premiere of the movie’s first ever teaser trailer.

We’ll let you be the judge.

From Robert’s take on both Bruce Wayne and Batman, to Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman, to Jeffrey Wright’s James Gordon, and a tease of Andy Serkis’ Alfred, the teaser trailer has us on the edge of our seats with anticipation of what’s to come.

The story takes place two years into Bruce Wayne’s career as Batman and instead of the rich playboy we’ve come to know in previous movies, Robert delves into a side of the dark knight where he’s still a masked vigilante and not yet the Batman we know.

Director Matt Reeves stressed that Batman isn’t quite Batman yet and that there are people “who are afraid of him, quite frankly.”

Unfortunately, there’s still over a year till we get to see The Batman on the big screens but that doesn’t mean that we can’t appreciate the trailer and start picking out our favourite parts!

Fans all over are of course screaming with excitement over the trailer drop and have taken to social media to share their excitement, anticipation and favourite parts of the trailer.

We’re so excited, we can barely wait for The Batman to hit the big screens in October 2021! We’re crossing our fingers that there won’t be anymore delays with the movie!

What was your favourite part of The Batman trailer? Are you loving Robert’s take on Bruce Wayne/Batman? Share your thoughts with us!
