Possibly one of the best and most underrated movies has just celebrated its 10th anniversary and they’ve done it in the best way! A special virtual reunion!
This time around, the cast and crew of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World got together and it gave us all the feels we need to get through the week!

With the current state of the world and the COVID-19 pandemic, many movie and series’ cast have taken to holding virtual reunions as these not only provide entertainment to those staying home but also allows cast members to reunite easily for the first time in years.
In honour of its 10th anniversary, Entertainment Weekly put together a virtual reunion of the cast and director of the cult-classic and it even included a special script table read!

Michael Cera, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza, Alison Pill, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Mae Whitman, and Jason Schwartzman got together for the special reunion and they were joined by fellow actors Ellen Wong, Satya Bhabha, Brandon Routh, Mark Webber and Scott Pilgrim director Edgar Wright and comic-creator Bryan Lee O’Malley for a read-through of the screenplay.
At one point, Chris Evans even brought his doggo on screen to join the table read!

“It’s been 10 years since we released this movie and clearly we’re all exactly the same—and the world hasn’t changed a bit either!” Said director Edgar Wright said in his introduction.
Notably, some key cast members are missing from the special reunion and that includes Brie Larson who played the cruel Envy Adams and Kieran Clukin who played Scott’s roommate Wallace Wells.
The reunion however is not just for entertainment, the cast have got together in an effort to raise money for Water for People - a global nonprofit that helps people bring clean water and sanitisation solutions to the communities.

Though Scott Pilgrim did not become a huge box office hit, the movie earned strong reviews and made a place for itself as a beloved cult classic over the years.
For those unfamiliar with the movie, Scott Pilgrim is a 2010 comic book adaptation about a floundering bassist who ditches his girlfriend for the enigmatic Ramona Flowers. However, to win Ramona’s affection, he has to first beat all of her evil exes in combat.
