We know you’ve been staying home and being responsible to help stop the spread of COVID-19. And while you’ve been staying home, we know you’ve been binge-watching series and movies, just like us.

But eventually, you start running out of things to watch because nothing looks as exciting anymore. Even new series or movies make you feel a little “meh” and you start questioning if you’re willing to invest your time in something new.

If you don’t want something new, we’ve compiled a list of iconic teen movies that you could rewatch over and over again and have no regrets while doing so!

10 Things I Hate About You

A timeless classic and possibly the point where we fell in love with Heath Ledger, 10 Things I Hate About You has everything you need in a teen movie. Love, rebellion, redemption arcs, song and dance, heartbreaking poetry, you name it, this iconic movie has it.

About: Popular, pretty Bianca Stratford (Larisa Oleynik) is in dilemma. A family rule forbids her from dating until her unpopular, rebellious, boy-hating older sister Kat (Julia Stiles) gets a suitor of her own. In an attempt to win Bianca, a potential boyfriend (Andrew Keegan) desperately attempts to set Kat up with Patrick Verona (Heath Ledger), another rebel whom may just be able to win Kat's heart.

Mean Girls

You can’t sit with us if Mean Girls isn’t one of your top 5 teen movies of all time! We know you’ll be quoting the movie throughout every rewatch of this and it only gets better every time!

About: Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) is a 15-year-old girl who has spent most of her life in Africa, where she was home-schooled by her zoologist parents. When her family relocates to the United States, Cady finds herself attending a high school in suburban Illinois, where she gets a crash course in the various sub-strata of the student body: the jocks, the cheerleaders, the "cool" kids, and so on. Much to her surprise, Cady finds herself embraced by a clique of rich and popular girls known to outsiders as "the Plastics," led by Regina George (Rachel McAdams), Gretchen Weiners (Lacey Chabert), and Karen Smith (Amanda Seyfried).

The Breakfast Club

A brain, an athlete, a basket case, a princess, and a criminal. Need we say more?

About: Trapped in a day-long Saturday detention in a prison-like school library are Claire, the princess (Molly Ringwald); Andrew, the jock (Emilio Estevez); John, the criminal (Judd Nelson); Brian, the brain (Anthony Michael Hall); and Allison, the basket case (Ally Sheedy). These five strangers begin the day with nothing in common, each bound to his/her place in the high school caste system. Yet the students bond together when faced with the villainous principal (Paul Gleason), and they realize that they have more in common than they may think, including a contempt for adult society.

The Princess Diaries

Shut up! Of course The Princess Diaries is on our list! From Mia’s awkwardness to her full on transformation to become Princess Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldi, Princess of Genovia; The Princess Diaries was probably the start of all our princess fantasy where we’d one day wake up being the princess of a small country!

About: Mia Thermopolis (Anne Hathaway) is a teenage klutz who's openly mocked by the popular Lana Thomas (Mandy Moore). In fact, Mia's only friend at her exclusive prep school is the socially outcast Lilly (Heather Matarazzo). Mia's life takes a dramatic turn, however, when her mom announces that her late biological father was in actuality the crown prince of a small European nation, Genovia. Now Mia is the sole heir to the throne, and her grandmother, Queen Clarisse Renaldi (Julie Andrews) wants to tutor the awkward teen in royal behavior.

Easy A

We’ve got a pocketful of sunshine and it’s filled with Emma Stone in Easy A!

About:  Like most high school kids, Olive Penderghast (Emma Stone) just wants to be popular. So much so that when her best friend, Rhiannon (Aly Michalka), asks Olive how her weekend went, the bored teen decides to whip up a spicy white lie just to make things interesting. But that minor exaggeration begins to take on a life of its own when it reaches the ears of motor-mouth gossip religion-freak Marianne (Amanda Bynes), and in no time the entire student body is abuzz over unassuming Olive's unrepentant weekend of debauchery. Of course not a word of it is true, but that doesn't stop everyone in school from talking, and an amused Olive from deciding to go with the flow.

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before

Lara Jean + Peter Kavinsky forever! This movie made us fall in love with Lana Condor and Noah Centineo and we’ve got no regrets! We’d totally write our own love letters but that only works in movies… right?

via GIPHY

About: What if all the crushes you ever had found out how you felt about them...all at once? Lara Jean Covey's love life goes from imaginary to out of control when the love letters for every boy she's ever loved - five in all-- are mysteriously mailed out.

Clueless

As if we wouldn’t have Clueless on our list! From many fashionable moments to epic makeover sequences, we’ll be here watching Clueless over and over again!

via GIPHY

About: Cher (Alicia Silverstone) and Dionne (Stacey Dash), both named after "great singers of the past that now do infomercials," are pampered upper-class girls who care less about getting good grades than wearing the right clothes and being as popular as possible. But Cher, who lives with her tough yet warm-hearted lawyer dad (Dan Hedaya) and hunky, sensitive stepbrother (Paul Rudd), also has an innate urge to help those less fortunate -- like the two introverted teachers she brings together ("negotiating" herself improved grades in the process) and new friend Tai (Brittany Murphy), who starts out a geek and ends up a Cher prodigy. Cher also possesses her own sensitive side, and she is looking for the perfect boyfriend, whom she ends up finding where she least expected.

Bring It On

Brrr… It’s cold in here without Bring It On in our lives… We’ll keep those secret cheers and routines your worked on after watching this movie quiet, if you'll do the same for us!

via GIPHY

About: Torrance Shipman (Kirsten Dunst) discovers that being captain of her San Diego high school's six-time championship-winning cheerleading squad is more complicated than she had imagined. Torrance's parents want her to spend more time on her homework, her boyfriend wants her to spend more time with him, and she learns that the squad's former captain stole some of their best routines from other teams -- and that Isis (Gabrielle Union), captain of a top squad at a crosstown, inner-city high school, plans to fight back this year. To make things worse, when one of the cheerleaders is injured, Torrance is forced to replace her with Missy (Eliza Dushku), a cynical new kid who is involved only because the school doesn't offer gymnastics.

She’s The Man

Another movie that spurred our teenage dreams of having Channing Tatum as our Prince Charming! We learnt so many things from She’s The Man, especially what to do to stop a nosebleed and how to chew like we’ve got a secret!

via GIPHY

About: Viola Johnson had her own good reasons for disguising herself as her twin brother Sebastian and enrolling in his place at his new boarding school, Illyria Prep. She was counting on Sebastian being AWOL from school, while he tried to break into the music scene in London. What she didn't count on was falling in love with her hot roommate, Duke, who in turn only has eyes for the beautiful Olivia. Making matters worse, Olivia is starting to fall for Sebastian aka Viola, who -- for reasons Olivia couldn't begin to guess -- appears to be the sensitive type of guy she'd always dreamed of meeting. If things weren't complicated enough, the real Sebastian has come back from London two days earlier than expected and arrives on campus having no clue that he's been replaced -- by his own twin sister.

The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants

Admit it, this movie probably made you go out and try on different jeans with your friends so you could form your own sisterhood! The pants are magic, we believe it.

About: Bridget (Blake Lively), Carmen (America Ferrera), Lena (Alexis Bledel) and Tibby (Amber Tamblyn) are best friends living in Maryland. After many summers together, the four are finally going their separate ways for a few months: while Bridget heads to Mexico, and Lena visits family in Greece, Carmen and Tibby stay closer to home. No matter where they are, they are connected by a pair of jeans that they take turns sharing -- pants that fit all four girls and exemplify their tight bond.

We know there’s tons more teen movies that should be in our list but for now, we’re giving you head start to dive back in to the world of iconic teen movies!
