The First ‘Train To Busan Presents: Peninsula’ Trailer Is Here And It’s The Stuff Of Nightmares

Train to Busan fans, are you ready for another ride of nightmares?

The first trailer to the highly anticipated sequel is here and it is terrifying.

If you’re not a fan of zombies or if you’re squeamish, we urge you to look away now…

Zombie fans, get ready because director Yeon Sang-ho is back to bring your nightmares to life in Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula and we’re already buzzing with excitement of what’s to come!

While the sequel may be set four years after the events of Train to Busan, Peninsula does not continue the story previously set and features different characters entirely.

“Government authority has been decimated after the zombie outbreak in Korea, and there is nothing left except the geographical traits of the location – which is why the film is called Peninsula,” said director Yeon Sang-Ho.

The sequel stars Gang Dong-won as Jung-seok, a former soldier who manages to escape from the Korean peninsula where a zombie-infested wasteland has been turned into a ghetto by other nations trying to stop the spread of the virus.

The ex-soldier is then sent back with a crew on a mission to retrieve something of importance and whilst on his mission, he discovers that there are more non-infected survivors left on the peninsula.

For now, the movie is set to be released in July but with the state of the world and the COVID-19 pandemic, the movie could be pushed back.
