The Full Cast List Of The ‘Mortal Kombat’ Reboot Is Here!

It seems like we’ve been waiting for forever for new news about the Mortal Kombat reboot by James Wan.

And now, we finally have all the info we need about the upcoming movie!

Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema have recently announced the official cast list of director, Simon McQuoid’s upcoming reboot.

According to Bloody Disgusting, production of the movie has finally begun in Australia, though not much else is known plot-wise.

This time around, James will not be directing but instead producing the remake of the beloved video game-movie.

The cast list looks incredible and is filled with fan favourites!

Hiroyuki Sanada (Avengers: Endgame) will be playing Scorpion, Chin Han (Ghost in the Shell) will be Shang Tsun, Joe Taslim (Star Trek Beyond) will take on Sub-Zero’s role while Jessica McNamee (The Meg) will play Sonya Blade.

Joining the cast as well is Josh Lawson (Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues) as Kano, Ludi Lin (Power Rangers) as Raiden, Tadanobu Asano (Thor: Ragnarok) as Raiden, Mehcad Brooks as Major Jackson Bridges “Jax”, Max Huang as Kung Lao, and Sisi Stringer as Mileena. Wu Assassins’ Lewis Tan has also joined the cast but is currently playing an unknown leading character.

Fans of the beloved video game are excited over the perfect casting and can’t wait to see the what these actors will bring!

Mortal Kombat is set to hit the big screen on 5th March 2021 and we’re already counting down the days!
