If you’re a fan of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, we have bad news for you. The sequel to the DC movie will be delayed!
The sequel titled, Woman Woman 1984, was initially set to be released in November 2019, but is now being pushed seven months later to June 2020. While the wait has gotten longer, Gal Gadot assured us that the new date is good news:
Warner Bro also released a statement saying that the move “lands the film exactly where it belongs.”
“We had tremendous success releasing the first Wonder Woman film during the summer so when we saw an opportunity to take advantage of the changing competitive landscape, we did.”

Elsewhere in the DC Extended Universe, it seems that things haven’t been doing too well. Rumours about Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck quitting their roles have been surfacing online, and we hope this Wonder Woman delay isn’t a sign of impending doom.
