It seems like Hollywood may be running out of ideas for movies.
According to Deadline, Paramount Players have acquired a script to a new movie called, Unboxing. Written by Ice Age: The Meltdown writer, Jim Hecht, the movie will play off the trend of unboxing videos.

If you've never heard about unboxing videos, the name says it all. It’s a trend where people film themselves opening and unpacking boxes, explaining the process and sometimes testing out the product as well.
As reported in Deadline, the plot "centres on a mischievous 11-year-old YouTube star who unboxes her father's secret safe as a stunt for her channel and unleashes the treacherous Puck and his band of evil tricksters on a small town."

The plot sounds like something you’d see in the Goosebumps franchise. But here's the big question: do we really need a movie about unboxing?
