From the final credits scene of the movie, we see Lana's last letter recipient, John Ambrose McClaren, showing up at her front door, letter in hand. Perhaps the upcoming movie will play on that?

Susan Johnson, the director of TATBILB, teased that that may be the direction the sequel will be moving in. Speaking to ET in August, she said, "Relationships are hard to navigate and they'll find themselves in one. And they'll discover what the next person might bring in John Ambrose McClaren."
"We're so invested in Peter and Lara Jean, that seeing them go through struggles is going to be hard but also something everybody can relate to," she went on to say. "The next shiny face comes in and you're like, 'Oh shoot, this guy's really nice too. What do I do?"

Until the sequel actually comes out, we'll be here writing love letters of our own.
