Robert Pattinson is set to appear in the upcoming The Batman movie and fans are going crazier after director Matt Reeves revealed the latest shot of the Batmobile!

The Batmobile has always been a fan-favourite and while past interpretations of the vehicle have appeared to be somewhat more advance and futuristic looking, the new one looks a tad bit… ordinary?

Many fans replied Matt Reeves’ tweet saying that the Batmobile looks more like a custom sports car compared to the military looking ones of the past.

Now before you hate on the Fast and Furious looking Batmobile, it is important to note that Robert Pattinson’s The Batman is rumoured to be focused on a “year two” setting and a younger Bruce Wayne that’s still evolving.

Will we get to see an upgraded Batsuit and Batmobile in the movie? It’s still uncertain but we’re certainly excited to see Robert Pattinson bring the new version of the Dark Knight to live!

Matt Reeves previously described the upcoming Batman movie as “a point of view-driven, noir Batman tale. It's told very squarely on his shoulders, and I hope it's going to be a story that will be thrilling but also emotional.”

"It's more Batman in his detective mode than we've seen in the films. The comics have a history of that. He's supposed to be the world's greatest detective, and that's not necessarily been a part of what the movies have been.”

The confirmed cast for the movie includes Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, Colin Farrell as Penguin and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth and is set for release on 25 June 2021.
