Is the end of Captain America actually drawing closer? Chris Evans sure thinks so.
As we all know, some of our favourite Avengers didn’t survive Thanos’ snap that wiped out half the universe in Avengers: Infinity War. But what about the fate of those that did survive who will be avenging the fallen in their biggest battle yet?

Fans have long speculated that Cap will be hanging up his shield after Avengers: Endgame. And when Chris tweeted that he had officially wrapped filming on the upcoming movie and thanked everyone for the opportunity of a lifetime playing Captain America, fans freaked out.
Now, the actor is giving fans another reason to doubt Cap’s survival. While many theories have emerged about how his death will play out, Chris had his own theory. He even joked that he had stop watching some of footage because it was too much for him.
And how does Chris think Captain America will be killed? By Tony Stark of course.
“After I die by Tony’s hand, I just said, ‘You know what? I can’t watch this,” he joked in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

“I should make it clear that this is a joke, even if it feels like the kind of joke that could turn out to be true, Chris explained. “I can’t believe they even cut together a trailer because so much of it is a visual spoiler. Probably shouldn’t have even said that.”
Does this mean that the trailers that were released hold a lot more information about the fate of the Avengers?
One thing that Chris says in the interview caused alarms to go off in fans’ heads. He talks about how his end as Captain America will be an emotional one.
“It’s hard. Seeing my own death,” he said. “It’s going to be a long movie, that’s for sure. The first edit clocked in over three hours. My funeral’s like an hour.”

Um… We really really hope that that’s another joke. We’re not sure we’ll be able to handle losing Captain America for real.
