Friends is definitely one of the most iconic sitcoms ever created and while the series ended in 2004, the series will continue to have more fans over the years… and now the cast might be returning!
The cast of Friends have reportedly signed a deal and will be returning for an unscripted reunion special on the upcoming HBO Max streaming platform!
The hour-long reunion special will bring back Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry on top of Friends creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane.
Matthew Perry recently also tweeted “big news coming…” on Twitter and fans were all hoping for a reunion!
Although the reunion special won’t be something scripted to reveal what the characters have been up to the past 15 years, it will still be the most complete reunion productions since 2016 where the cast reunited with the exception of Matthew Perry.
The cast have been in discussion for months before signing the deal that is said to be worth $20 million in total, with each star receiving around $3-4 million for the reunion special.
The Friends cast previously “broke the internet” after Jennifer Aniston posted a photo along with all the other cast as her first Instagram post.
