If you didn’t already know, Paramount, Skydance and AllSpark are on their way to bringing us the upcoming Snake Eyes spinoff that will be directed by The Captain’s Robert Schwentke and produced by Brian Goldner.
The movie, that’s based on the Hasbro toys of the same name, will mark the third G.I. Joe movie that has been produced by Paramount in the last decade. The most recent movie in the franchise was G.I. Joe: Retaliation that starred Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Bruce Willis.
According to Variety’s sources, the studio and Hasbro are “currently trying to figure out how to put a new spin on the series.”

If Henry is officially cast in the movie, the actor will play Snake Eyes who is a silent ninja commando who dresses all in black, never reveals his face and doesn’t speak.
Snake Eyes is one of the original members of the G.I. Joe Team and has quickly establishes himself as the group’s most popular member by standing out amongst the military anti-terrorist group. He’s also most known for his special relationship with the team’s only female member, Scarlett, and his solo missions with his pet wolf, Timber.
And of course, every action hero needs an archenemy right? In Snake Eyes’ case, his arch nemesis is Storm Shadow, a ninja who is also his blood brother. No word on who’s been cast as Storm Shadow just yet though.

We’re rooting for Henry to land the role in Snake Eyes! Do you think he’ll play a good silent ninja commando?
