At the recent Disney Q3 Earnings call, Disney CEO, Bob Iger confirmed that the three movies will be getting the reboot treatment.
While not much is known about what these remakes will bring, the CEO noted that they would be “reimagined for a new generation.”

No cast or release date of the four movies have been revealed just yet but what is known is that these reboots will find their home on Disney +, which launches in November in the US.

After the news came out about the reboots, Home Alone star, Macaulay Culkin aka Kevin McCallister, took to social media with the best response.
In a tweet he shared, “This is what an updated Home Alone would actually look like.”
Fans of Home Alone however aren’t as excited about the prospect of a reboot and have taken to the Twitterverse to express their feelings.
What are your thoughts on the upcoming reboots of Home Alone, Night at the Museum, Cheaper by the Dozen and Diary of a Wimpy Kid? Should there even be remakes of the iconic movies?
