Are you a big fan of The Conjuring? How about Saw and Insidious?
Well, did you know that a Malaysian-born director is the man behind these famous Hollywood horror movies?
James Wan was born in Kuching, Sarawak on 26 February 1977. This Chinese Malaysian man moved to Australia as an adult, where he attended RMIT University.
James has been nominated and won many awards for his films. Some of his works that did exceptionally well were Saw (2004), The Conjuring (2013), and Furious Seven (2015).
James has just finished filming Aquaman last October, and it’s scheduled for release this December.
