Jared Leto Is Upset Over Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker Movie

When you say Joker, everyone would immediately think about Heath Ledger. And now with Joaquin Phoenix’s “Oscar worthy” performance as the new Joker, it’s comes to no surprise that Jared Leto would feel upset over it.

Jared Leto’s performance as the clown prince of crime in Suicide Squad received a lot of criticism back in 2016, with Jared being upset because many additional scenes didn’t make it to the final cut of the movie!

Rumours of a Joker/Harley Quinn movie surfaced after but did not get a confirmation. The upcoming Suicide Squad reboot and Birds Of Prey won’t feature Jared’s Joker too.

Jared Leto was going to star in a standalone spinoff Joker movie too but it was cancelled to make way for Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker.

When asked if he would return to play the role, Jared said "I don’t think so. You’d have to ask them".

"I would definitely play the Joker again. It all depends on the script and the circumstances as it always does."
