Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker recently crossed the one billion box office mark and a sequel is reportedly on its way!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Joker director Todd Phillips and Joaquin Phoenix will be back for a sequel, despite the movie supposedly being a one-off origin story.
But while fans are demanding for a sequel with a showdown between Robert Pattinson’s upcoming Batman and Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker, Todd Phillips will reportedly not explore Batman’s backstory.
Todd has also reported to be proposing the idea of him developing more origin stories for other DC characters and honestly, we wouldn’t mind at all!
